We are delighted to share a highlight from the visit of the International President of the World Buddhist Community to India. On December 14th, 2025, the President of the World Buddhist Community, Mr. Heeriyamullage Buddhika Prasanna, visited the temple of Bhante Mahendra in the holy city of Kushinagar.
Amidst the spiritual serenity of the grounds where the Buddha attained Parinirvana, a fruitful dialogue took place.
The primary objective of this meeting was to establish a roadmap for future Buddhist activities aimed at revitalizing the Dhamma in its birthplace, India. Both leaders engaged in a deep discussion regarding:
Local Development: Organizing impactful programs to strengthen the Buddhist community in India.
Global Outreach: Unifying efforts to propagate the message of peace and compassion worldwide.
This meeting marks the beginning of a powerful collaboration to uplift the Buddha Sasana. We are excited about the future projects that will blossom from this union!
